CAKE Feature Spotlight: Alleviating Privacy Concerns in Lead Distribution with Redacted Fields
In a time where data is king, personal consumer information is digitized and transmitted faster than you can say “compliance.” Privacy concern isn’t a new subject in the lead distribution market either. Providing a business model that can efficiently mitigate data breach risk will set you apart from a potential competitor.
After attending LeadsCon New York last week it was very apparent that the ever-evolving lead generation markets, regardless of vertical, are placing safeguards in every step of the lead cycle. As a result, CAKE is ensuring that our lead distribution software can support your business needs by introducing the feature Redacted Lead Fields.
What do we mean by Redacted Lead Fields?
In order to build a posting document for lead ingestion, vertical specific fields are created to capture data points necessary for successful lead sale to your buyer base. These data points can range from name, address, email, etc. and can now be redacted from the view entirely within the CAKE platform.
This removes any risk of capturing and storing private lead data within the source to buyer workflow. The ability for redaction to occur on a field-by-field basis provides users a granular way to control the consumer input stored within your instance.
