A Slice of CAKE

CAKE was founded on the belief that our team should strive to provide superior customer service in addition to an innovative product. Our goal is to create an exceptional user experience for our customers. After all, it is always nice to put a face to a name and meet the people you interact with on a daily basis! In this new series we will be introducing our outstanding team members from across all departments and all regions…with one goal in mind. We want our customers, prospects and industry advocates to get to know the faces behind the product. We hope you enjoy!

Today we introduce you to Jordanna Eagle, a member of CAKE’s Account Management team based out of the California office. Jordanna began her CAKE career in December 2012. Prior to working at CAKE, she worked for an interactive media & marketing company. Since technology has always been a part of Jordanna’s professional career, an opportunity opened up for an Account Manager at CAKE and the rest is history!

A Sneak Peek Inside Jordanna’s Role at CAKE:

As Senior Account Manager, I work closely with all departments within CAKE. From identifying a CAKE product or service that a client will benefit from to troubleshooting technical setups with the CAKE Support Team, my role covers a vast array of responsibilities. I also have the pleasure of working alongside a group of hard-working, intelligent and dedicated Account Managers. My role as Account Manager at CAKE, allows me to build relationships throughout the entire performance marketing industry, but also the ability to learn on a daily basis the ever-so changing Internet world!

Jordanna’s Favorite Part About Working at CAKE

Every day at CAKE is different! I am constantly learning and growing, both professionally and personally because of CAKE. I absolutely love what I do and who I get to work with, from my CAKE family to my amazing clients! I believe that if you love what you do – then you will never have to “work” a day in your life.

Jordanna’s Hot Tip For Customers:

When in doubt, go to the pixel log! CAKE provides a detailed pixel log for every pixel attempt. If a client notices that something is not tracking properly, the 1st step in troubleshooting the issue should be to access the pixel log. CAKE provides dispositions (which is the reason why something did or did not track) along with other important data points for reference. The pixel log makes troubleshooting a “piece of CAKE”!

Her Favorite Activities Outside of CAKE

I am obsessed with decorating! When I am not working, I am decorating. I love going to swap meets (one man’s trash is another’s treasure). I enjoy going to the dog beach with my fur-kid (Ted), spending time with my amazing family and fabulous friends and of course – traveling!

Just For Fun, We Asked Jordanna “If you could play a role in any movie what role and movie would it be and why?”

I would be Elisabeth Shue’s character in Cocktail. Cocktail is one of my all time favorite movies! Some of the reasons why I would want to play her character are:

-Cocktail took place in the best decade ever – the 80’s!

-Jordan Mooney (Elisabeth’s character) lived on a tropical island.

-Jordan and Brian (Tom Cruise’s character) fall in love! Tom was so dreamy in the 80’s!

An Interesting Fact About Jordanna:

I make up 10% of the population when it comes to how I use my hands. I am what someone would consider “cross-dominance”. I write with my left hand but can throw a mean curveball with my right hand (not really, but you get the point). Not only am I the only lefty in my entire family, but I am also the only one who prefers vanilla ice cream to chocolate ice cream!
